Before you book
This can vary depending on the size and complexity of the property. From an hour to half a day. You should be present so we can explain the readings as we go.
Leave the house exactly as you normally live in it: devices on, router where it usually sits. We need to see the real conditions first. Ideally, every room where you spend more than an hour continuously, should be included. The switch board should be accessible.
Yes, the first part of the assessment requires the main power to be switched off (for around 30 minutes), unless this is not possible for safety reasons. This is to measure the EMF coming from external sources such as masts and power lines, without the interference of the internal wiring. The rest of the assessment is done with the power on, as you normally live in the house.
No. The first recommendations are almost always free changes. Shielding materials are expensive and complex to install. They often come last on the list of solutions, when measurements or your sensitivity indicate they are necessary. Disonnected can recommend shielding solutions and arrange a follow up session to test their efficiency in real conditions.
Yes. The method is the same, though access and timing usually need arranging outside working hours. Tell us the size of the space and the number of workstations when you get in touch.
